Everyone using Claude is using maybe 10% of it. I know because people watch me use it and say "wait, it can do that?"
Here are the three cheat codes that unlock the rest. None of them take more than ten seconds to start using.
1. Stop typing. Just talk.
Voice mode changed everything for me. I do this in the car. At 5am before the kids are up. Half-dressed in the bathroom. Hit the mic, say what you need, send it.
It writes the email. Plans the trip. Answers the homework question my 4-year-old asked that I definitely did not know the answer to.
The reason this works: you talk faster than you type, and you explain things more naturally out loud. Your prompts get better without trying.
2. Add one line to the end of every prompt
I don't fully know what happens in there. I just know it stops going in loops, stops handing me half-finished answers, and stops making me check its work like a fourth kid.
Ten seconds to copy. It saved me an hour this week.
3. When one opinion isn't enough, make it argue with itself
Tell Claude to take both sides of the decision and debate it. Or have it pull in what ChatGPT and Gemini would say and compare.
I did this last week deciding whether to hire an executive assistant. Three perspectives, one synthesis, one decision. Twenty minutes for something I'd been sitting on for a month.
Start tonight
Paste the self-verify line into your next prompt. Try voice mode on your drive tomorrow. That's it. You're now using more of Claude than almost everyone you know.
