# Your Notion Action Dashboard

1. In Notion, create a page called Action Dashboard. Add a full-page or inline table database called Tasks.
2. Import notion-tasks.csv into Notion (Settings > Import > CSV, or use the Import command available in your workspace). This creates a starting database; do not also ask AI to import the same rows. Rename the imported database Tasks if needed.
3. Check the property types. Task = Title; Status = Select; Area = Select; Due date = Date; Time estimate (minutes) = Number; Next step = Text; Waiting on = Text; Source = Text or URL; AI help = Select.
4. Keep Due date empty when unknown. The sample uses September 2026 dates; replace them before using it.
5. Create four views: Today (Status is Today); This week (Status is This week); Waiting (Status is Waiting); Later (Status is Later). Add a Needs an answer view if useful. Sort Today by Due date, then Time estimate. Status reflects your choice; a missing date must not become today.
6. Connect Notion in the AI app you use. Read-only search is different from write access. Notion MCP supports creating/updating pages and databases, but your AI app must support that connection. Ask it to name the chosen database and confirm its permissions.
7. If your installed Notion connection is read-only, paste approved rows into the database or import the CSV. You still get the full workflow. Do not call it automatic sync.
8. Save the Notion URL. Put that same URL into the daily-reset prompt. Review the top three before asking AI to prepare one real output.

## One page, two useful sections
Top: TODAY - three tasks with the next action visible.
Below: THIS WEEK / WAITING / LATER - everything else, so nothing disappears.
Every task should lead with a verb: Sign the form, Review the proposal, Find two appointment options.

## Daily reset
Speak new commitments. Ask AI to compare with the existing database. Merge clear duplicates, ask about uncertain matches and show changes. Review the list. Then choose one task for AI to help finish. You own the final decision and completion status.
